to remain human
that’s my ambition for life
that, and not to lie
Tonó: What is he on about. Did he say something important. Why is he so upset.
Uncle Adelbart: Humans can’t lie, only degenerates are capable of lies, those who abandoned the human state. They’d be writhing in filth, selling their souls for scraps, had they still some of it left. Pure sight. Justified stance. Unconditional resolve. Those things matter, the rest matters not.
Tonó: Yet lies don’t exist. Only truth does. And something that does not exist can not be a problem. Neither can something that’s true. So what’s the problem.
The Gnostic Wanderer: This may not look like a lot but in reality is the hardest of all, the pinnacle of all challenges. Experiencing a moment of unbounded truth is like swallowing a thousand burning daggers. Many leave the path when the fierce winds arise. Yet the demons of falseness have to be released, resolved, dissolved. Lifting the veil is the only way out of the jungle. There is no doubt about this.
Tonó: Down with truth! Down with all the clever words! Down with all posers! Down with all knowers! Truth is dead, it’s dry, lifeless and aloof! Only life is true and all of life is true!
Macrocosmic: Thanks but I was only talking about myself.
Master Thaur: Once I met a girl on the beach and took her home. She was not afraid but I was. Our minds are prisons.
