Tonó: You can not be friends for real until you spent hours on the floor of the darkened room in the middle of a hot summer day, listening to Jethro Tull on vinyl, pulling out book after book from the shelf, discovering gems like thick and heavy Hieronymus Bosch albums full of freaky creatures crawling out of the abyss that is our psyche, you can not be a true friend unless you have that depth of a soul and that honesty to recognise your own psyche, you can not have a friend at all unless you realise time and world do not matter, and that there is nothing more worthwhile than wasting an entire afternoon in that higher state of togetherness. That is rare, that is precious, that is for life.
Master Thaur: A generation of self-obsessed wimps isn’t capable of friendship. We must rediscover stance, purpose and truthfulness. Or die trying. Anything but these posers.
Little Goddess: I often wonder whether girls know friendship, I often think we don’t really. But that’s OK, for we can love. Like no man can. And birth magic. Sprinkle your barren worlds with fairy dust. And sing songs of our brave explorers in the wilderness so that they find their way back.
Uncle Adelbart: Without a friend men get lost. Without a muse men are lost.
